CUMBERLAND – Penny Lane James, 48, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland. Born November 29, 1972, she was a daughter of the late Garland "Jessie" and Virginia "Penny" James. Along with both sets of paternal grandparents, Penny is survived by her son, Jessie James; sister, Ginny (James) Clayton and her children, Carrie James, and Eric and Alexis Clayton; brother, Garland James and wife, Misty, and their children, Kristopher, Julie, Haley, Trinity, Lillian, and Paisley James; special friends, Chris and Frank Morgan. Penny is also survived by a number of aunts and uncles, great-aunts and uncle, five great-nephews, and numerous cousins. At her request, Penny was cremated.
