Ridgeley, WV William Jeffrey "Jeff" Hutt, 62, of Ridgeley, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his home.Born September 8, 1956, he was the son of William G. "Bill" Hutt and the late Katherine (Mock) Hutt. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Kay (Grimm) Hutt; and his grandmother, Mary Gladys Hutt.Jeff was a graduate of Ridgeley High School. After graduation, he drove test cars for ABL for many years. Later, he drove as a cab driver for Queen City Taxi. He appreciated people, especially his large family, who he enjoyed sharing stories about. He was an avid Steelers fan and animal lover.Surviving are his wife, Barbara; his father, Bill Hutt; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by his wife's granddaughter, Kristen Squires, who he considered to be his own granddaughter.Family and friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Monday, June 10, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation at the funeral home at 6 p.m. with Pastor Steve Monington officiating.The family requests contributions to be made to the Allegany County Animal Shelter 716 Furnace Street, Cumberland, MD 21502, in honor of Jeff's memory.Condolences may be left at www.ScarpelliFH.com
