Agnes "Aggie" Louise McKenzie, 82, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at Peace Healthcare at Mountain City Center.

Born February 4, 1942, in Midland, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Catherine Cecelia (Fair) Cesnick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Kenny" McKenzie; a sister, Cornelia Ann Dolan; a brother, Tom Cesnick; a nephew, John Knippenburg; and brothers in law, Eddie McKenzie and wife Lois, Thomas McKenzie and wife Betty, Ronnie McKenzie and wife Catherine, Donnie Mckenzie, and Mike McKenzie; and a sister in law, Sarah Cesnick.

Agnes graduated from St. Joseph School in Westernport. She enjoyed spending time gardening and working word puzzles, and she loved playing games with Kenny.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Catherine Walker and husband Douglas; a son, John E. McKenzie and wife Ruth; grandchildren, Jessica Walker, Laura Martel and husband Michael, Emily McKenzie, and Jake McKenzie; great-granddaughters, Amelia Martel and Madelyn Martel; a brother, Gene Cesnick; sister in law, Carlon "Kitten" McDowell and husband Tim, Bonnie Cesnick, Maxine McKenzie, and Sharon McKenzie; and a very large extended family.

Visitation will be at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD on Thursday, June 13th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Guests are requested to abstain from consuming peanut based foods and using perfumes and colognes to accommodate a strong allergy in the immediate family.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Fr. John Daya officiating.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cumberland, MD.
