GRANTSVILLE – Anna Marie Leasure, 84, of Grantsville, MD, passed away peacefully at Goodwill Retirement Community on February 2, 2022. Anna was born June 14, 1937, in Wiley Ford, WV. She was the daughter of the late Russel and Edna (Hott) Leasure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy Lease, Alma Miller and Loretta Kline and her brother William Leasure. Surviving are two brothers, Russel Leasure (Maxine), North Augusta, SC and Samuel Leasure (Carol), Piedmont, SC, sister in law Betty Leasure, Edgewood, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna worked as a secretary for the State of MD for many years and used to love the outdoors, birdwatching, walking daily and reading. The family would like to thank Goodwill Retirement Community for their loving care given to Anna over the past 11 years. Funeral viewing and services will be conducted at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD 21502 on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with the funeral beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Bel-Air Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 809 Rock Springs Rd, Bel-Air, MD 21014.
