Antoinette "Toni" Delores (Derosa) Hyatt, 88, of LaVale, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 peacefully at home.

Born August 27, 1936, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late John Derosa and Mary (Kyle) Bauman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Mark Bauman, and brother, Jack Derosa.

Toni attended SS Peter and Paul School and went on to provide daycare services from her home for over 25 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Hyatt and husband Dan Scism; grandchildren, Dane Rice, Delani Hyatt, Hannah Scism, and Emma Scism; daughter-in-law, Stacey Bauman.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD 21502 to help defray funeral expenses.
