Arlo "Keith" Lewis, Jr. passed away peacefully at UPMC Western Maryland on Sunday, August 22, 2021, surrounded by his family. He went to be with the Lord at the young age of 58. Keith has been fighting to overcome sickness for many years. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." – Matthew 11:28 Keith was born on October 17, 1962, to the late Arlo Keith Lewis, Sr. and April Sherryann Lewis. Surviving are his son, Nick Lewis and wife Stephanie, and their four children, Mckynna, Zander, Chloe, and Maci Lewis; his daughter, Elizabeth Peer and husband Ryan, and their five children, Wyatt, Trey, and Makayla McKenzie, and Grace and Ryder Peer. Also surviving is his fiancée, Tiffany Newcomb. Keith loved his nine grandchildren more than anything in this world; he loved being their "Pap KL," as the kids called him. Keith was a diehard Miami Dolphins fan for his entire life, and he also loved the Fort Hill Sentinels. Keith was a member of the Fort Hill/ Votech class of 1980. He liked to talk to everyone, and never met a stranger. Keith was retired from the federal prison due to medical reasons, but he definitely missed his calling as a salesperson. Keith will be missed and loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. Family and friends will gather for a viewing at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. He will be buried at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Little Orleans, MD.
