GREEN SPRING, WV Beatrice Marie Willard, 93, of Green Spring, WV, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.Born May 10, 1924, in Green Spring, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harl Hamilton Cosner and Susan Pearl (Shanholtz) Cosner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Irwin Willard; and two sisters, Madeline Hull, and Wanda Cosner.Beatrice graduated from Romney High School. She later retired from JC Penney. She attended Forest Glen Church in Green Spring, WV. When Beatrice was younger, she was a voracious reader. She also enjoyed needlework and sewing. She made dolls and doll clothes, as well as clothing and Halloween costumes for her children. Beatrice was a wonderful cook whose specialty was vegetable soup.Surviving Beatrice are her children, Kenneth Scott Willard, Palm Bay, FL, Sharon Schroeder and husband William, Cincinnati, OH, and Vicki Pomeroy, Green Spring, WV; grandchildren, Katrina, and Brandie and husband David; great-grandchildren, Britton, and Bailey; and sister, Alma Wyatt, Sebring, FL.Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, MD, and Florida Memorial Funeral Home, Rockledge, FL, are assisting with arrangements.Interment will be in Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, FL.Condolences for the family may be left at www.ScarpelliFH.com.
