RIDGELEY – Beverly Ann Snyder, 77, of Ridgeley, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at home with her family by her side.

Born March 19, 1946, in Cumberland, MD, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Juanita Vivian (Ashenfelter) Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Leo "Donnie" Snyder, Jr.; sister, Carlin Arbogast.

Although her legal name was Beverly Ann Snyder, she much preferred "Mom" and "Nana." She dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. Any free time she had went toward her volunteer work with Complete Care Dawn View and Wesley Chapel. Beverly also enjoyed shopping, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Beverly leaves behind her children and their spouses, Tina Ryan, Jeff Snyder, Billie Neilson (Harry), Ann Browning (Bill), and Roxy Dekker (Scott); grandchildren and their spouses, Marie Beck (Kevin), Harry Neilson, Jr., Michael Ryan, Kourtney Browning, Bryce Dekker, Brady Dekker, and Brandon McGorty; siblings and their spouses, Jeanie Steed (Frank), Jessie Netzer, and Bob Lambert; all of her fur grandbabies; and her furry cat companion, Ginger.

In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated.

Friends and family will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD, on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 2 to 3pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3pm with family friend, Darel McAvoy officiating.
