Caroline M. Clark, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

Born July 30th, in Hazleton Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Mondero) and Michael Markovchik. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James "Streaky" Clark; sisters, Anna Sterenchock and Mary Horner; brothers, Michael and Carl Markovchik; grandson, Sean Diamond; and twin great grandsons, Francis and Louis.

Caroline graduated from Hazleton High School. She attended Strayer's College in Washington, D.C. and attended Allegany College. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.

Prior to moving to Cumberland, Caroline worked as a secretary in the office of the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.. In Cumberland, she worked for Dr. Nadeau as a medical assistant/receptionist. While volunteering in the library at St. John Neumann and Bishop Walsh, Caroline lovingly enjoyed helping and meeting all the students, faculty and staff.

Surviving are three daughters, Jane Ayn Diamond and husband Bill, Joan E. Loffert and husband Richard, Jean E. Dorner and husband John; one sister, Gloria M. Kohn; four grandchildren, Kristin Walker and husband Cory, Katie Diamond, James Loffert and wife Sarah, and Jill Loffert; and six great grandchildren Trenton, Tucker, and Taylor Diamond, Isabella and Reeve Walker, and Samuel Loffert.

At Mrs. Clark's request, there will be no viewing or memorial service. Her body has been donated for the advancement of medical sciences with the West Virginia University – Human Gift Registry.
