Cathy Anne Frost, 70, of Ridgeley, WV passed away peacefully at her home March 28, 2026.

She was born in Cumberland, MD on October 7, 1955 to the late Bill and Rose (Davis) Godwin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Frost; daughter, Heather Frost; her brother, Bill "Bee" Godwin, Jr.; and granddaughter, Samantha Phillips.

Cathy graduated from Allegany High School and Allegany Community College. She had a career as a lab technician which started at Memorial Hospital, then continued until her retirement with Western Maryland Health System.

She loved the outdoors and especially her time spent with family and friends at camp.

Surviving is her son, David Frost and wife Christina; grandchildren, Jensen Frost, Alexandria Kerns, Jada Hott, Ivy Kerns, Anjewel Newcomb, Franky James, Taylor James, and Sophia Damon; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Mike Godwin, Rusty Godwin, Jeff Godwin; a sister, Jenny Godwin; and her large extended family including numerous nieces and nephews all over the country.

In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated for the advancement of medical sciences.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 10 beginning at 4:00 pm at Calvary United Methodist Church, 67 Knobley St, Ridgeley, WV with Minister Billie Smith officiating.
