Christine Diane Jenkins, 58, of Cresaptown MD, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 27th, 2026 at home with her children.

Born on October 6th, 1967 to Carl "Rosie" and Donna Rosenberger (Railey). Chris devoted her life to her family and her faith. She loved the beach, painting, reading, cooking/baking, and strengthening her relationship with God.

One of her greatest achievements in life was being able to marry her high school sweetheart, Donald, and together they raised 3 beautiful children while building a life filled with love, laughter, and light. They met when she was 15, married 6 years later and never stopped loving each other since. Their love was something you only saw in fairytales and only few ever get to experience and her eyes always lit up when she talked about their journey together.

Chris worked at Walmart for over 5 years and built multiple friendships with coworkers and customers; she loved talking to and meeting new people. She was a loyal friend and mother and always knew the importance of family. She was always down for a good time whether it was across the street or driving to the beach last minute. Any time spent with her was unforgettable. She was goofy and lovable and always showed up for those she loved dear.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Rosenberger (Railey), and her faithful husband and love of her life, Donald Roy Jenkins. Jr. Chris is survived by her father. Carl and his wife, Eleanor "Kathy" Rosenberger; her children, son, Joshua and his wife Mingi along with Chris's only granddaughter, Elizabeth; daughter, Ashley, and her son Tyler; her sister, Karla Morgan and her husband Rodney, and their children, Donna and Justin; her brother, Jeffrey Rosenberger and his wife Amanda, and their daughter Caitlin and her husband Robert Foote, and daughter, Gracelin Rosenberger, as well as many cousins.

Friends and family will remember her for her unwavering love and faith, her beautiful voice, and her fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met.

A viewing will be held on Saturday September 5th, 2026 from 11am to 1pm at Scarpelli's Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD. A funeral will immediately follow at 1pm officiated by Rev. Dr. Ed Clemons, Jr.

Christine's final resting place will be at Mt. Zion cemetery in the Frostburg/Grantsville, MD area followed by a meal at the Finzel Fire Hall, 401 Finzel Rd, Frostburg, MD 21532.
