Noel
Jun 12, 2003 — Dec 19, 2025
Christopher Michael Noel, 22, of Rocky Mount, NC and originally of Cumberland, MD passed away suddenly December 19, 2025 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born June 12, 2003 in Cumberland, MD and was the son of Susan Kay Stallings, and the late Michael Stallings. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Debbie Stallings and Marvette Noel; grandfather, Jeff Liller; and great-grandmother, Joan Stallings and Sandy Noel; great-grandfathers, Samuel Noel Jr., Gilbert Stallings Sr., Robert Clark and A.D. O'Baker.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Ava Stallings; best friend and loving girlfriend, Ta'Nequa "Neke" Debrew; his mother's companion, Scott Shreve; grandfather, Gary Stallings and wife Roberta; uncle, Gary Lee Stallings; aunt, Jolene Shafer; grandmother, Tracy Liller; aunts, Beretta Liller and Sierra Liller; grandfather, Michael Noel and wife Glenetta; great-grandmothers, Helen O'Baker, Patricia Noel and June Clark; his large extended family including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and his many friends.
Chris graduated from Mountain Ridge High School and the Center for Career and Technical Education's electrical program in 2021. The next year he moved to North Carolina to live with his cousin Josh Clark who was his friend, mentor, and partner in crime. He then worked in various warehouse and manufacturing positions. Growing up in his Pap's garage, Chris became a natural "gearhead" and loved anything mechanical, working on cars, motorcycles, and dirt bikes. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and was active with the NC Biker Boys/Girls. While growing up he loved spending time outside with his father, hunting, riding dirt bikes, and could always be found by a campfire. An avid sneaker collector he was known for his Nike Jordans. Chris was gifted in the kitchen and at the grill. He loved spending time cooking for Neke and his family.
He was very caring and would always try to help the people around him; his uniquely deep world view will be missed by many. His deep love for helping others was even carried out in his passing by contributing to the HonorBridge organ and tissue program.
