LAVALE – Clinton Lee Ruby, 56, of LaVale, MD passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at WVU Hospital Morgantown WV.

Born November 7, 1966 in Cumberland, MD, Mr. Ruby was the son of the late Elmer Ruby, of Flintstone, MD and Linda (Weyant) Jaramillo, of Berkeley Springs, WV, as well as surviving mother-in-law Elaine (Smith) Mallow (Robert), of Cumberland, MD and late father-in-law S. Dale Smith, of LaVale, MD.

Clinton was a plumber/steamfitter for local #486. He was a member of the Western MD Street Rod Association.

Clinton is survived by his wife, Dawn (Smith) Ruby; six children, Alex, Alejandra (Marcellus), Jose, Keith, Nicholas, and Frederick; and two grandchildren, Samuel and Saela. Also surviving are his sisters, Paula, Angela (Terry), and Estrella; brothers, Greg, Angel, Estevan, Manuel, Damian, and Anthony; two brother-in-laws, Monzel (Julie) and David; 9 nephews, 4 nieces, 7 great nephews, and 6 great nieces.

Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. on Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 4-7 pm, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm.
