Fort Ashby– Connie Darline (Bell) Mellott, 74, of Fort Ashby, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Country House.

Born April 7, 1949, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Paul V. and Helen Bell.

Connie was the Assistant Vice President at Liberty Trust Bank and Team Leader Operations Manager at M&T Bank. She taught Sunday school and was the treasurer at Wesley Chapel Church for many years.

Connie loved feeding the birds, deer and other animals at her home and on her farm.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Richard E. Mellott; sister, Karen Cashwell; and her brother, Ronald Bell.

Thanks to the entire staff of the Country House and hospice for the wonderful care and compassion given to Connie.

At her request, her body will be cremated.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 11am to 1pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1pm with the Rev. Diane Smith officiating.
