Craig Allen Mearkle, 54, of Cumberland went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2024 while working in Moorefield, WV.

Craig was born March 25, 1970 in Bedford, PA to William K. Mearkle and Diana Miller-Mearkle.

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Robert Davis Jr..

Craig was a skilled carpenter and contractor, building many local homes and other structures. When not working he was on his Harley Davidson or enjoying the river floating and fishing.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Kori Grimm and husband Benjamin; grandchildren, Jaxin Sullivan, James Grimm, and Colton Grimm; his grandmother, Betty Davis; and an extended family and his many friends.

In accordance with his wishes he was cremated and a celebration of his life will be scheduled soon.
