Craig David Rizer, Sr., 67, of Fort Ashby, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born on June 14, 1956, in Willard, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roy Alfrad Rizer, Sr. and Helen O. (Little) Rizer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lorrinda Kay "Aunt Rinny" Rizer.

Craig loved being involved in cub scouts, boy scouts, and sporting events with his children. He enjoyed hanging out at his friend's garages and working on antique and muscle cars. He never met a stranger and could find a friend anywhere and everywhere he went.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Janet Rizer; sons, Craig "CJ" Rizer, Jr. and partner Kara Goughnour, and James Dale Rizer Sr. and partner Amber Ott; grandchildren, James Jr., Addy, Gannon, Maycee, Karlee, Lylah; step grandchildren, Tanner and Quinnleigh; his brothers, Roy Rizer, Jr. and wife Brenda, Ronald Rizer, and Randal Rizer; nieces and nephews, Roy "Trey" Rizer, III and wife Emma, Ashley Bernier and husband Jay, Katie Rizer, Melissa Chavis and partner Craig; and great-nieces and nephews, Richard, Brooklyn, Jaydon, Audrey; and a large extended family.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated, and celebration of life will be held at the First Church of God, Cumberland, at 2 p.m. on June 8. A dinner will follow the service at the church.
