CUMBERLAND- Cynthia Diane Morrissey, 66, of Cumberland, passed away on March 2, 2018.Born September 16, 1951, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marilyn (Davis) Crites. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Morrissey; her son, Matthew Morrissey; and her sister, Cheryl Combs.Cynthia was an entrepreneur at heart. She owned several businesses throughout her life. Above all, she was a homemaker to her family. Cynthia enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, all animals especially horses, and watching the Buffalo Bills.Surviving are her two daughters, Meredith Morrissey and Julie Fraley Williams; her grandchildren, Josiah McCuley and Carter Gaither; and her lifelong companion, Gary Moore.A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday, March 26, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Marshall Carder officiating.
