With grateful hearts and unwavering faith in God's promises, we celebrate Debra "Debbie" Lynn (Breighner) Kasecamp. Debbie, 71 peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 6, 2026.

Born January 5, 1955 in Cumberland, Maryland to William and Lorraine Breighner whom proceeded her in death. Debbie was a loving wife to James Kasecamp, Jr. She was a caring mother to Aaron Kasecamp and wife Tonya and Todd Kasecamp and wife Valerie. She was a cherished grandmother (MeMe) to Amber, Kiara and Jade Kasecamp, Allie and Erica Kasecamp, Braiden Sines, Alexis Stuby and Logan Groves. She leaves behind three great grandchildren and another on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Dieterle and husband Curt, special nieces Shannon Sneden and husband Roy and her children Madison Cunningham, Riley Bridges; Kimberley Vanalstine and Ashley Rose as well as special cousin Brenda Halle and husband Bob. Debbie also leaves her in laws which she loved as her own siblings Betty McLaughlin and husband Patrick, June Carter, Ken Kasecamp and wife Nancy and Lynda Kasecamp.

Debbie lived a life rooted in faith, love and service to others. In her service to Christ she was an active member of Cumberland First Church of the Nazarene. She faithfully served there as a Sunday School and Children's Church teacher as well as the NYI (Nazarene Youth International) leader. She created lifelong memories for the children and teens of First Church. She found great joy in studying God's word, praying for others and sharing the hope of Christ. She was a prayer warrior in and out of the church.

Everyone who met Debbie will remember her gentle spirit, compassionate heart and her unwavering faith. She was the wife of a Firefighter and Chaplain and proudly took the responsibility of that, willingly serving the Firefighter community. Debbie had a gift for making everyone feel loved and valued through her quiet acts of generosity.

She recently accomplished her dream of graduating from Williamson Bible Institute as a Lay Minister. Debbie also attended Allegany College of Maryland and worked as a Headstart teacher. Debbie was a beloved volunteer for more than 34 years at Western Maryland Food Bank where she was treasured by her co workers and those she served.

Her family deeply mourns her passing but rejoices in the assurance she is with her Great Shepherd. "Well done my good and faithful servant enter into the joy of your Lord" Matthew 25:22-23

A celebration of life will be held at the Cumberland First Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2pm. A reception will follow at the Bowling Green Fire Department.
