Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Beem, who left us peacefully on August 29, 2024, at the age of 69. Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone she met.

Born on March 8, 1955, in Cumberland, MD, Diane grew up with a deep love for family, nature, and the simple joys of life. On August 9, 1975, she married the love of her life, Thomas Beem, Sr., and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Diane was known for her unwavering dedication to her family. As a mother, she instilled in her sons, T.J. and Kevin, the values of compassion, integrity, and hard work. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense joy in creating special moments with them that will be treasured forever. A talented and creative soul, Diane had a passion for arts and crafts, with a special gift for sewing. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, where friends and family could always find a comforting meal and a listening ear.

Diane's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience. She will be remembered for her strength, her gentle spirit, and the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Beem, Sr.; her sons, T.J. Beem and his wife Ali, and Kevin Beem and his wife Katie; and her beloved grandchildren, Addison, Ben, Silas, Elias, and Lucas. Diane will also be dearly missed by a host of extended family and friends.

A private celebration of Diane's life will be held with close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Diane's memory to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 676910, Dallas, TX 75267-6910 (https://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/get-involved/give/).
