Dolores Marie Carlson, of Largent, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Dolores was the dear wife of 45 years to the late Robert Carlson; dear mother to the late Robert (Pamela) Carlson, Debbie Juliano, Bruce (Angie) Carlson, Lori (the late Jim Herrera) Carlson, Cheryl (Jeff) Heldman; dear sister to the late Raymond (the late Audrey) Brinkman, the late Elizabeth Thurman; dear grandma to Becky Carlson, Zach (Jenny) Carlson, Toby (Fides) Carlson, Kristin (Seth) Johnson, Jimmy (Sheryl) Juliano, Jessica (Ryan) Smith, Carly (Dan) Mallon, Mike (Vanessa) Lopez, Steve (Francis) Lopez, Vinnie Lopez, Bobby Lopez, Angela Lopez, Jon Herrera, Heather Herrera, Meagan (Tim) Grassman, Molly (Conner) Neumann, Amy Heldman and Sarah Heldman. She was also the proud Great Grandma to 26 great-grandchildren.

Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who also had a special place in her heart for her pets. Her infectious laugh filled every room with joy. She loved supporting her family's sports and activities and cherished hosting and attending holiday celebrations. Embracing caregiving as her calling, Dolores was a source of warmth and compassion to everyone around her.

She treasured her time by the Cacapon River in West Virginia, where its tranquil beauty served as the backdrop for many unforgettable family memories. Dolores also delighted in gathering around the TV to cheer on her favorite sports teams with her loved ones—moments that brought them all closer together. A faithful Christian, she was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.

Dolores will be deeply missed by many.

All services are private.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
