Cumberland – Dolores (Boatman) May, 97, of Cumberland, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Lions Rehab Center.

Born October 24, 1927, in Deer Park, MD, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Susan (King) Boatman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael D. May; two brothers, Ernest and Darrell E. Boatman; companion of six years, Richard A. Weimer, Sr.; friend, Richard A. "Rick" Weimer, Jr.; and two special furry companions, Maggie Mae and Bella Carmacita May.

Dolores was the owner and operator of Wind Chimes restaurant in Fort Ashby. She was a member of the Church of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in LaVale.

Dolores is survived by two grandchildren, April Michelle May and Wendy Diane May; sisters-in-law, Carol Madonnia and Colleen Boatman; very special friend, Kathy Weimer; and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated, and there will be no formal funeral services.

Inurnment will be private in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
