CUMBERLAND – Donald Paul Wolfe, Jr., 51, of Cumberland, MD, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, after a long battle with heart disease.

Donnie was born on January 2, 1974, in Cumberland. He was the son of Ruth Steinmetz-Hunt and the late Donald Paul Wolfe, Sr.

Donnie enjoyed fishing and playing video games, especially with his nephew, Patrick. His late grandpap, Ervin, had a special place in his heart.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Donald P. Wolfe, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Ervin and Dorothy (Bishop) Steinmetz; his aunts, Elizabeth (Steinmetz) Andrews and Josephine (Steinmetz) White; his uncles, Arthur, John, and Abner "Curtis" Steinmetz.

His is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ruth and Mark Hunt; one son, Donald Paul Wolfe, III; one brother, Brian Keith Wolfe; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 11am to 1pm and from 5 to 7pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7pm with Chaplain Bruce McBride officiating.
