Don Whisted, of Cumberland, MD, passed away on January 29th, 2026. In keeping with his wishes, there will not be a service.

Don was deeply involved in community theatre and believed strongly in the power of the arts to bring people together. In the days since his passing, the many stories and memories shared by friends and community members have brought great comfort to his family and reflect the wide and lasting impact he had on those around him.

In his memory, family and friends are encouraged to support the arts in their own communities—whether by attending a performance, volunteering, or creating something of their own.
