CUMBERLAND - Donna Lucille (Plummer) Cosner, 89, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Lions Rehab Center.

Born March 29, 1937, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Nola (Shelly) Plummer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Olvie Cosner; infant twin daughters; three brothers; and three sisters.

Donna was a 1956 graduate of Fort Hill High School. She became certified as a nursing assistant at Allegany College and went on to work at Lions Rehab Center, a job that she very much enjoyed. It also brought Donna joy to care for and spend time with her beloved pets.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence Cosner (Norma); grandchildren, Lauren Spangler (Nick) and Cory Cosner (Maya); great-grandchildren, Jackson, Adler, and Oliver; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will be conducted at 1pm with the Rev. Gary Pensyl officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
