Donna Ray (Crowfis) Emrick, 69, of Cumberland, MD, died at Devlin Manor under hospice care on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

She was born in Cumberland on April 21, 1956 to Samuel Raymond and Mabel Genevieve (Harman) Crowfis, both deceased.

Donna was a 1974 graduate of Fort Hill High School and looked forward to the Halloween Parade so she could hear that Fight Song.

Donna was preceded in death by her siblings, Butch Harman, Mary Crowfis, her sister and best friend, Betty Jo Glaze.

She is survived by her partner of 37 years, Ronald "Buck" Hare; brother, Samuel; son, Clarence "J.R." Albert Emrick, III with Krista Salesky; grandchildren, Tyler, Shawn, and Patience; very special nieces, Jessica Iiff, Crystal McFadden, and Clarissa Medow.

Donna was cherished by those lives she touched including her children by proxy, Kellie Bruck, Ron Hare and Lori, John "JT" Hare and Sheila, Tanya Gomer and Curtis, and Tracy Johnson; grandchildren by proxy, Devon Hare and Karisa, Angel Dalverny and Ricky, Stephanie Lewis and Nick, Antonia Bruck, Taylor Hare, Chase Hare, Kinsley Hare, Jessica Shaffer, her "Tiffy Bird" Tiffanie Hare, Kiki Johnson, Ty Johnson, LJ Johnson; great-grandchildren by proxy, Amelia, Caleb, McKynna, Chloe, Maci, Zander, Julian, Jaci Jo, Jensen, Julius, and Jayla.

Donna loved collecting doll babies and she dedicated her life to being there for those she loved. She never missed a birthday or holiday and always looked forward to updating her pictures, singing with the kids, painting ceramics, swinging on the porch, and watching her feathered friends.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm. In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated after the funeral service.
