Donna Lou Yaider, 88, of Cumberland, passed away on July 18, 2026 at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehab.

Born October 12, 1937, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late William Howard Sisk and Ruth V. Sisk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Denny L. Yaider, Sr. and her sister, Martha R. Rice.

Donna was a proud 1955 graduate of Fort Hill High School. Throughout her years, she had many jobs including working at A&P Meat, driving a school bus for Allegany County Public School System, and being a Resident Hall Assistant and Transportation Driver for the sports teams at Frostburg State University.

Donna is survived by her sons, Denny L. Yaider Jr. (Vicki) and Ward "Rusty" Yaider, and her daughter Brenda R. Blackburn (Donnie). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adam Blackburn (Alli), Jason Blackburn (Andrea), Lauren Yaider (Cassie), Ashley Veal (Justin), and Seth Yaider (Breanna); her great-grandchildren, Rowynn Blackburn, Cage Blackburn, Claire Blackburn, Jace Veal, and Ainsley Veal; her brother-in-law, Donald Rice; as well as her nephews, and many extended family members.

Per her wishes, her body will be donated to science.

There will be no visitations and an inurnment will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Hope Valentine, Dr.Shakil, and the staff at Willow Valley Apartments.
