Rawlings - Earl Dubbs Moreland, Sr., 90, of Rawlings, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born September 30, 1933, he was the son of the late Oliver King and Almertia France (Pownell) Moreland. He was also preceded in death by his son, Aaron Moreland, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Emmalee Moreland; five brothers; and seven sisters.

Dubbs served in the US Army and retired from the local Ironworkers 568. He was a member of the Danville Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ada (Gordon) Moreland; three sons, Creed (Pam) Moreland, Earl (Kelly) Moreland, Jr., and Jason (Rhonda) Moreland; nine grandchildren, Josh, Shanna, Jessica, Aaron, Nicholas, Sierra, Derek, Brandon and Jensen; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Dave Moreland; and daughter-in-law, Cecelia Moreland.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Glenn Capacchione officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, January 22 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
