Eddie Lee Morris, Sr., 73, of Cresaptown, MD died peacefully at home on September 3, 2025.

He was born May 5, 1952 in Cumberland to late George H. Morris and Billie Jean Little. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunts and uncles, who helped raise him.

Eddie graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1970 and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a devoted and lifetime member of many local organizations, especially the Cresaptown Eagles #2883.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years, JoEllen Morris; three children, Shelly, Eddie Jr, and Danyel; grandchildren, Raven, Blake, Julian, Shaye Lynn, Lexi, Skyler, and Jasmine; a sister, Anna Hoyman; and a large extended family.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
