Edward Allen Long, 73, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at UPMC – Western Maryland.

Born August 13, 1951, in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Wilma Mae (Collins) Long and Richard D. Long, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard "Peanut" D. Long, Jr. and one nephew, Richard "Ricky" Long.

Edward served in the United States Navy. He was an engineer with the CSX Railroad.

Edward is survived by his daughter, Crystal Long; significant other, Vivian Hinerman; sister-in-law, Carol Long, and niece, Tonya Cademartori and her children, Travis (Ashley), Joshua, and Nathan Cademartori.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
