Cumberland – Emogene May (Mongold) Little, 101, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Allegany Health Nursing and rehab.

Born September 29, 1922 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Naomi Elsie (Twigg) Mongold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Milburn Little; son-in-law, Robert Sulser.

Emogene was a graduate of Fort Hill High School class of 1941. Following high school, she was employed by the Allegany County Board of Eduation. Later she was a secretary at Kel-Co Federal Credit Union where she worked for 35 years.

Emogene enjoyed reading and crocheting She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Emogene is survived by two daughters, Charlene E. Sulser and Pamela J. Bittner and husband Gary; son, Michael D. Little and wife Patricia. Emogene is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren

In accordance with Emogene's request, her funeral services will be private.

Interment will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
