ACCIDENT- Ethel Virginia Swan, 89, of Accident, passed away on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at her home.Born on July 30, 1927 in Green Spring WVa., she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Hester A. (Kerns) Glaze. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Swan; her siblings, Gladys Powers, Beatrice Whitacre, Ruby Gilpin, John Henry Glaze, Herbert Glaze, and Marvin Glaze, Walter Glaze, Jr, Georgie, and Merle.Ethel was Methodist by faith. She loved spending time with her family, and especially her great-grandson. She also had a love for her dogs.Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Malloy and husband William, Cheryl Morrisson and husband Gary, Gail Moyer and husband Tommy, and Rebecca Swan; her sisters, Linda Riggleman and husband Fred, and Eva Seabold; her brother, Richard Glaze and wife Nora; grandchildren Charity, Marsha, Buddy, Ralph, Amy and Heidi; great-grandson, Jaiden Malloy; and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m.A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Ethel's memory do so by making memorial contributions to the Hospice of Garrett County, P.O.
