HYNDMAN, PA Evelyn Susan "Sue" Sherman, 75, of Hyndman, PA, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at her residence.Born June 2, 1942, in Romney, WV, Sue was the daughter of the late Orean Barnes and Ivadell (Sheetz) Barnes. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, James Barnes; three brothers; and companion, Bill Bess.Sue worked at Micro's in Laurel, MD, building cash registers. She was proud of her job and making a living. In her free time, Sue enjoyed watching wrestling, as well as spending time outdoors. She like to relax in her yard by weeding and taking care of her garden. Sue will be greatly missed by her family and her faithful Chihuahua, Little Man, who spent many hours curled up with Sue in her armchair.Surviving are her sister, Alma A. Sherman and companion Donald Bryant; granddaughter, Brittany Barnes; great-grandchildren, Brian Barnes-Russell, and Ricky Soto; nieces, Christina Sherman, and Crystal Duckworth; and nephew, Roger Barnes, Jr.In accordance with her wishes, Sue's body will be cremated.
