Evelyn Virginia (Watkins) Upole, 96, of Rawlings, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Peace Healthcare Lions Center.

Born January 23, 1929, in Tunnelton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lewie and Rozella (Bolyard) Watkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ernest Watkins and spouse Mary, Peter Watkins and spouse Pearl, Foster Watkins and spouse Alta, Carl Watkins, Learlean Watkins Knotts and spouse Charlie, Marie Watkins Miller and spouse Don, Edith Watkins Sypolt and spouse Carl and Shirley Watkins Shrout and spouse Bob.

Evelyn enjoyed shopping with her best friend, Beth. She enjoyed being a waitress and loved going to the beauty shop to have her hair done.

Evelyn also enjoyed going to LaVale Baptist Church and seeing her minister, Jim Jefferies and many of her church friends.

Evelyn is survived by her sister, Ruby Watkins Bulford and spouse Sam and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no viewing or funeral services.
