CUMBERLAND – Florence Ellen Baker, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Cumberland Healthcare Center.

Born in Cumberland, MD, on November 15, 1951, she was a daughter of the late William and Nora Jenkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Baker; son, Dennis Jenkins; and her great-granddaughter, Nova Baker.

She graduated from Fort Hill High School. She also attended Allegany Community College where she studied to become a CNA, GCNA, and an LPN.

She was and always will be a diehard FORT HILL SENTINEL FAN. She would exclaim, "GO BIG RED" every chance she got.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Baker and wife, Tori, and Larry Baker; two grandsons, Brenden Baker and girlfriend, Addison, and Ryen Baker.

Her family prays she finds peace and comfort.
