Frances "Jeanette" Garlitz, 77 of Cresaptown, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

Born December 19, 1945, daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Baker of Klondike, Maryland.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her siblings, Arthur Paul Baker, Mary Elizabeth Preston, Irene Hutcheson, William Baker, and Eugene Baker.

Jeanette was retired from the housekeeping service industry. She enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family having cookouts, playing horseshoes and cornhole.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Tammy Mason and husband Joshua of Sykesville, MD; daughter, Tina Blume and husband Brandon of Cresaptown, MD; her stepson, Harry Garlitz and wife Stacey of Cumberland, MD; her grandchildren, Ashley Robison, Shantell Kesner, Eric Robison, Timothy Kesner, and Neveah Norris; and her siblings, AnnaMae Adams, Thomas Baker, Vincent Baker, Angela Garlitz, Patricia Blubaugh, and Sally Sites.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held later in the year, with a family cookout on her patio, where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
