LAVALE Frances Patricia "Pat" Rice, 81, of LaVale, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Seasons Hospice in Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.Born October 24, 1936, in Hampstead, England, Pat was the daughter of the late Alec and Anne (Brambley) Smith.In 1959, Pat moved to the United States of America to be with the love of her life, her husband, Paul Edward Rice. She worked for the Allegany County Board of Education as a secretary at Pullen Elementary School on the Frostburg State University Campus.
