Frank Nelson Sheetz, Sr., 76, of Cumberland, MD passed away after a battle with cancer on June 15, 2026 at UPMC - Family Hospice, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born October 4, 1949 in Cumberland to the late Edgar and Vada Sheetz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Eileen Sheetz; a son, Dale Lee Sheetz; and a daughter, Shelia Eileen Sheetz, Jr; and ten of his siblings.

Frank enjoyed working on cars with his family and friends, and watching old DVDs. In his later years, he enjoyed the time he got to spend with new friends at the Willow Valley Apartments.

He is survived by his son, Frank Nelson Sheetz, Jr. and wife April; his brother, Edgel Sheetz and wife Connie; three grandchildren, Alex, Sebastian, and Nicky; a great-grandchild; a large extended family; and many friends.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
