Garrett Brent Saville, 40, of Cresaptown passed away January 7, 2022, at his home from a sudden heart attack. He was born July 6, 1981, and was the son of Terry and Juanita Saville. Garrett attended Allegany High School, and majored in Carpentry at the Allegany County Career and Technical Center in 1999. After school, he started a career as a Roofer/Carpenter, and worked for J&A Gray, Inc. for over 20 years. He lived and breathed for his kids. He was a humble, selfless, hard-working father, son, brother and friend. He would sacrifice his own needs, so he didn't have to tell anyone "No." He loved hunting, fishing, floating the river, and spending time with loved ones. He is survived by his two children, Cameron and Sarah Saville; his mother, Juanita Kay Saville; the love of his life, Carrie Colmer, his six siblings, Curtis Saville and wife Diana; Stacy Saville; Shannon Harris and husband Shannon; Lori Saville, Clinton Saville and wife Cindy, and Brandon Saville and wife Sherrie; 10 nieces, 6 nephews, 9 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews; a very large extended family; and a countless number of people who loved him. Visitations will be held at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Hal Atkins officiating. Visitation prior to the service will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be immediately follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Cash Valley Road, LaVale, MD. *MASK ARE MANDATORY DURING ALL SERVICES ** Garrett hated money being wasted on flowers.
