CUMBERLAND – Gary William Miller, 64, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Gary was born April 22, 1962, and was the son of the late Bertha Jean Miller and James F. Miller, Sr.

Gary graduated from Fort Hill High School, Cumberland, MD. He was employed at City Electric Supply.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Christine; daughter, Ashley, and son-in-law, Brian Broadwater; granddaughters, Mia and Harper Broadwater. Also remembering him are brother, Jimmy and sister-in-law, Lori Miller; sister, Kathy Dolly; sister-in-law, Kathy Flores; and brothers-in-law, Phillip Lowery (Sheila) and David Lowery. Gary was blessed with many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Tuesday, May 26, from 4 to 7pm.

A funeral service will be conducted at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 15 N Smallwood St, Cumberland, on Wednesday, May 27, at 11am with Fr. Ryan Viands officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Porter Cemetery, Hyndman, PA.
