Gary Francis Reeves, 71, of Cumberland, MD, passed on November 12, 2024, at UPMC Western Maryland. Born October 31, 1953, in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of Donald Francis Reeves and Mary Grace Mauzy.

Gary held degrees in Geology from West Virginia University and Computer Science from Frostburg State University. His career included roles as Research Hydrogeologist at Western MD RC&D, Director of IT at Nathan Associates, and Sales/Technical Representative at CaronEast, Inc.

He is survived by his children, Bryan Reeves and wife Michelle, Melissa Reeves and husband Chris, and Heather Reeves; his brother, David Reeves and wife Wendy; and eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Allegany County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 566, Cumberland, MD 21501-0566, honoring his love for animals. He will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Flintstone, MD. No services will be held.
