RIDGELEY, WV - George A. "Bud" Hartman, age 86, of Ridgeley, passed away peacefully on January 22nd 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, community service, and love for his family.

Born on March 24th 1938 to George E. Hartman and Helen V. Hartman, Bud lived a life filled with dedication to his country, his work, and his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 58 years, Janet Hartman.

Bud is survived by his daughter Tracy Foreman and Fiancé Brian Friend, and his Grandson Owin Foreman and his companion Emily Peirce, and his Great grandchildren Everlee and Emerson Foreman.

A visitation will be held at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, on Wednesday, January 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow visitation with Pastor Seth Wharton officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens where military honors will be accorded by the Fort Cumberland Post 13 Honor Guard.
