CUMBERLAND, MD — Gloria Jean (McMannis) Porter, 68, of Cumberland, passed away at her home on July 11, 2023.

Born March 15, 1955 in Keyser, W.V., she was the daughter of the late William and Martha (Martin) McMannis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Porter, Sr., son, Jason Albert Porter, daughter, Laura Porter, and her grandson Stevie Porter.

Gloria was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping and shopping.

Gloria is survived by sons, Ronald Porter, Jr., John Leo Porter, James Glenn Porter and wife Anita, Chris Porter. Her daughters, Martha Ann Porter, Judy Grace Porter, and Julie Roseann Porter. 27 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her sisters, Martha Ann Strawderman and Shirley Fisher, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, Coriganville, MD. on Friday July 14 from 10:00am until noon. A funeral service with follow with Pastor James Glass officiating.

Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be sons John, James and Chris Porter,  Brandon Fosher, her nephew John Porter, Jr., her and great nephew Wendell Porter.
