Obituary

CUMBERLAND Harry W. "Tex" Foreman, Sr., 69, of Cumberland, formerly of Ridgeley, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.Born on June 17, 1949, in Texas City, TX, he was the son of the late Harry and Regina Foreman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann (Dignan) Foreman; sister, Marlene Cain; and sister-in-law, Theresa Simanski.Harry was a 1968 graduate of Allegany High School, after first attending St. Mary's Catholic School. He was a bus driver for Allegany County, and also worked as a pressman for both the Cumberland Times-News and the Reading Eagle in Reading, PA, from which he retired. Harry was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church. He volunteered his time coaching the PeeWee Saints and Ridgeley Rams Football.Harry is survived by his children, Harry W. "Butch" Foreman, Jr. and wife Leah, Chad Foreman and wife Sandi, and Danielle Watts and partner Tom Lippold; grandchildren, Clay Foreman, Ashley Watts and partner C.T. Giese, Keirsten Johnson and husband Malik, Owin Foreman, Tia Johnson, Taylor Stein, and Hayden Stein; great-grandchildren, Kambrie "Rosie" Johnson, and Makai Johnson; as well as extended family members, Jeannie Bechtol, Paul Dignan, Greg Dignan, Mark Dignan, Tony Dignan, Chris Dignan, Mike Dignan, John Dignan, Virginia Snyder, Renee McCullough Dignan, Matt Dignan, and all of their families.Family and friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 3 to 5 p.m.A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at the funeral home at 5 p.m. with Mark Dignan officiating.In accordance with his wishes, Harry will be cremated following the funeral service.The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America at HDSA.org or HDSA, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.Condolences for the family may be left at www.ScarpelliFH.com
