Harry "Smokey" Junior Davis, 66, passed away April 20, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Betty Ann (Smith) Davis, in 2007; and his father, Harry Robert Davis in 2013.

He is survived by his mother, Millie (Dolly) Davis; daughter, Trudy (Davis) Hayes and husband Scott; grandson, Christian Hayes; sister, Sherry (Davis) Nixon and husband Delbert; three very special nieces, Miranda and son Brayden, Nina and husband Steven and their children Millie and Knox, and Katt and boyfriend Garrett; brothers-in-law, Ivan Smith and wife Patty, Carroll Smith and wife Donna; sisters-in-law, Wanda Whisner and husband Tony and Lisa Grady and husband Tracey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harry enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing with his grandson, Christian. He also loved spending time with family, either at the beach or camping, or just hanging out for no reason.

A special thank you to the people who were there for support during his final days, Pastor Charles Riggleman and wife Jane, and his unofficial second daughter, Melissa Simpson.

A special thank you to Dr. Zaman and the staff at the UPMC Cancer Center and to the UPMC Hospice group with a special thank you to his nurse, Christie, and his aid, Britteny.

Pallbearers will be Scott Hayes, Christian Hayes, Garrett Ginevan, Brayden Kott, Jason Herbaugh and Delbert Nixon.

Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland on Thursday, April 25, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland on Friday, April 26, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Charles Riggleman officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Oliver Grove Cemetery.
