Cumberland Howard "Junior" Groves, 77, of Cumberland passed away on June 29, 2019.Born on October 1, 1941, Junior was the son of the late Charles and Eva Groves. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Buster Groves, Edward Groves, Ellsworth Groves, and Margaret Swick; daughter-in-law, Tammy Groves.Junior was a Stone Mason, and he owned an antique shop on Virginia Avenue. He was a man of God and a member of Souls Harbor Church.He is survived by his four sons Walter Groves, Gary Groves and wife Brenda, Bobby Groves, and Jeff Johnson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Dennis Groves, Donald Groves, and Evelyn Sisk.Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 10-Noon.
