James "Jim" R. Edmands, 77, of Green Spring, WV, passed away peacefully into the presence of Jesus on May 3, 2025, at home with his beloved wife by his side.

Jim was born December 6, 1947 to the late John Sadler and Christine Friel Edmands. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Jr., William, Daniel, and Russell Edmands.

Jim was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed visiting and being around family and friends, shooting the breeze and telling stories. He was known as the fun uncle, kind, generous, and would do anything for you. He loved sitting on the back porch with his two little dachshunds (Jig+Ring), overlooking the river which was peaceful and quiet to him. In his leisure, he enjoyed some fishing, camping, golf, and league bowling where he met his wife Pam, in whom he found real love, true dedication, and commitment for the rest of his life.

He went to Walter Johnson High school where he learned woodworking, which lead him to open his own kitchen cabinet and counter top shop after graduation (1966). He was in business for 45 years. After accepting Jesus into his heart, he started attending Memorial Heights Baptist Church, in Cumberland, MD.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Edmands; daughter, Theresa Edmands, Yakima, WA; son, Dr. Christopher Edmands, DO and wife Ronni, Parkersburg, WV; two grandchildren whom he adored, Andrew and Kayte Edmands. He is also survived by his sister Patricia Caldwell; two special sister-in-laws, Marylou and Betty Edmands; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Per his wishes, Jim will be cremated.

A celebration of his life will be held at Rocky Gap State Park at a later date.
