James "Pappy" Harvey Plummer, 52, of Ridgeley, WV passed away February 3, 2025 at his home.

He was born February 16, 1973 in Cumberland, MD to Donna Rae Rafferty. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, who help raise him, James and Eva Plummer; grandparents, Harvey and Norma Jean Hendrickson; a brother, Roger Boyd Plummer; aunts, Carolyn Drubish and Norma Lee Kolo; and a uncle, Harvey Hendrickson, Jr..

Pappy graduated from Allegany High School and worked in construction. He loved music especially playing the drums, working on and detailing his car, and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two uncles, Richard Wayne Hendrickson (Janet) and Neal Frederick Hendrickson (Judy); siblings, Richard N. Plummer, Lydia George (Ray), James Plummer (Shelia), Edward Plummer (Patty); sister-in-law, Vickie Plummer; a niece, Brittnie Turner; and a large extended family including many cousins.

A viewing will be held Monday, February 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland.

Cremation will follow and inurnment will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
