Janice Ilean (Lashbaugh) Wyatt, age 76, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2026, passing away peacefully at home surrounded by the family she adored. Born in Cumberland, MD on May 15, 1950, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Phillips) Lashbaugh. Janice was a woman of faith and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cresaptown, MD.

In her early career, Janice brought comfort to many as a long-time dietary aide at Allegany Nursing Home. Her journey later took her to South Carolina, where she met her beloved husband, Ed. There, she continued her work in food service with the Marriott Corporation and later worked in the mailroom at Fluor Daniel before dedicating her time fully to her home and family. Janice found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life-she was a passionate animal lover, an avid shopper, a fan of Elvis Presley, and was happiest with her toes in the sand at the beach.

Her legacy of love lives on through her husband of 38 years, Thomas Edward Wyatt; her dear son, Pastor Michael Lashbaugh Sr. and his wife, Wenda; her grandchildren, Rachel Warnick and her husband, Justin, and Michael Lashbaugh, Jr. and his wife, Kayla; and her adored great-grandchildren, Zain, Gracelyn, and Trinity Warnick, and Michael III and Serenity Lashbaugh. She also leaves behind her brother, George Richard Lashbaugh, Jr. and his wife, Linda; her sister, Hilda (Munday) Root and her husband, Reggie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Following her wishes, cremation will take place, and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
