Obituary

CUMBERLAND – Jesse Olin McCoy, 38, passed away at home on November 7, 2020. Born on June 1, 1982, he was the son of Johnnie McCoy and Bonnie and Jeffrey Clark. Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandparents, Jesse and Clara McCoy; grandparent, Thelma Iser; grandparents, Ralph and Mary Rader; and brother, Bradley Clark. Jesse was a graduate of Oldtown School and attended VoTech. In addition to his parents, Jesse is survived by the love of his life, daughter, Jillian McCoy; sisters, Jada, Shannon, and Holly; as well as brother, Adam. He will also be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many other family members and friends he touched throughout his life. Jesse was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors of Western Maryland and West Virginia and all that nature had to offer. He had an infectious laugh, a generous spirit, and was willing to help anyone in need. He was a wonderful father who loved his daughter with all he had, a loving and faithful son to his parents, and an absolute joy to his sisters and brothers. He had a witty sense of humor and could always be counted on to crack a joke and brought laughter to all he knew. Jesse loved with his whole heart and was always there for his family when they needed him most. He was especially gifted in the art of hugging, with a kiss to the forehead, and never forgot to tell his family that he loved them. He had a heart big enough for everyone to have a piece, and family meant anyone who crossed his path. Never did Jesse let those he loved leave the room, or end a phone conversation, without the words, "Love you, later, bye" and this, along with his laughter, his smile, and his warmth, will forever be in the hearts of those he left behind. Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. is entrusted with arrangements. There will be no formal visitation or funeral services. Condolences may be left at www.ScarpelliFH.com.
