Jo Ann Lueck Daskal, 82, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, in Augusta, Ga.

Jo Ann was born in Cumberland to Joseph and Marguerite (Cessna) Lueck on May 3, 1941. She graduated from Saint Mary's High School and Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Memorial Hospital for over 40 years.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marguerite (Cessna) Lueck.

Jo Ann is survived by her children, Lisa Daskal Voorhies (Barry) of Pleasant View, Tenn., Edward Daskal (Leah) of Evans, Ga., and Susanne Daskal of Augusta, Ga.; her brother, Allen Lueck of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; and her grandchildren, Kristen Miller (Marty), Kent Voorhies (Katie), Sarah Kate Daskal, Emmie Daskal; and great-grandchildren, David, Isabel, and Joseph Miller.

A graveside service will be conducted at St. Mary's Cemetery, Uhl Hwy, Cumberland, MD, on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 2pm.
